Join us for an exciting summer adventure with this year’s Vocal Intensive for Musical Theater course!

In this innovative program, students will explore the rich tradition of musical theater while honing their own solo singing and acting skills.

Throughout the course, students will be taught how to improve their vocal skills with solid and proven vocal techniques. Focus will be placed on not just the singing but how to bring your piece to life by using acting skills to possess the true character of the song.  Auditioning skills and how to prepare for upcoming auditions is another important focus of this 8 week class.

Families are invited to join their singers at the end of the class to enjoy a musical theater showcase put on by the students. All students will perform what they learned in our end-of-the-summer musical extravaganza.

”Guardians of the Garden” is a joyful 30-minute original musical performed by our talented summer camp students!

Set in a magical garden, this charming story features a heartwarming message about friendship and working together.

In addition to learning songs and choreography, campers will help create colorful sets and costumes through hands-on crafts, making this performance a true showcase of their creativity and teamwork.

This dynamic vocal performance class is designed for teen singers eager to explore the art of musical theatre singing, with a special focus on the technique of belting. Through weekly lessons, students will learn how to belt safely and effectively, understanding both when to use this powerful technique and how to protect their voices.

The course will cover vocal exercises, warm-ups, and song repertoire from iconic Broadway musicals, helping students develop their vocal range, strength, and stage presence. Emphasis will be placed on character-driven performance, allowing teens to explore the nuances of portraying different roles through song.

Throughout the semester, students will refine their skills in a supportive and creative environment, preparing for a final showcase titled Villains and Misfits. This Broadway-themed performance will highlight the unforgettable characters that define musical theatre, offering students the chance to shine as they showcase their vocal abilities in full costume and character.

Whether you're new to belting or looking to strengthen your musical theatre voice, this course will provide the tools and techniques to bring your performances to the next level.
